Hello.

I'm sure you remember the bug I reported about : on FAT filenames on
abcde. My personal suggestion for a translation is " -", so that a track
called "foo: bar", which is the format that I found with :, gets converted
to "foo - bar", which is less pretty, but will work.

I can't remember... do you translate " " into "_"? In that case,
"foo_-_bar" is quite ugly, but I have seen tracks called with uglier
names.

But I did not write you for this (quite stupid) question. There it goes:

When the file cannot be created (e.g. because the name is not legal on the
FS, full FS, ...) the (local) distmp3 process crashes (dies?), and the
(remote) distmp3host process hangs. The encoder (I used lame) keeps trying
to read and write, and distmp3host does nothing to avoid it. Shouldn't
there be a timeout, or something like that?

If it seems to you that I am asking a lot, I am sorry. I just found your
programs very useful and I am trying to help improve them. Lack of time is
the reason why I do not code it myself. But I promise some (effective)
help coming by the end of September, when I finish my internship, and I
will have some spare time during the week-ends.

Thank you!!

	Antonio Fiol
