Hi.

I verified, with abcde version 1.9.9.-1 (debian sid) that parameteres
are correctly passed to the encoding process.  I tried both with
oggenc and with toolame.

So, either this is specific to lame, or it has been corrected in
1.9.9-1.  Can you try to verify this?
