[abcde] Re: Bug#138354: Wishlist: batch mode

You can avoid interactivity by setting INTERACTIVE="n" in your
abcde.conf, or by running abcde with the -N option. You can find out
about this by doing:

abcde -h

The options should probably be spelled out in the man page and added
(commented out) to the abcde.conf (which is the point of this wishlist
bug, I guess).

In non-interactive mode, the first choice is picked from the CDDB
entries. A "various artist" disk is guessed if the the DTITLE contains
"various" or "soundtrack" (ignoring case). The style of a Various
Artist track naming is guessed by whether more than half the tracks
contain a '/' or more than half the tracks contain a '-'. In
non-interactive mode it is always assumed to be "Artist / Title" or
"Artist - Title" (the more common styles, in my experience).

Not sure about the reporting of failed disks, but I'd assume that it
is reported in some clean way.

Cheers,

Kevin.
