Well, it's a hack, I realise now; the code doesn't care about actions
that it doesn't recognise.  So '-a wombats' would have the same effect,
as would '-a cbbd', which is certainly not desirable.

An explicit "none" action could be a good idea, followed by spitting the
dummy on unknown actions (to catch misspellings of real actions, as
above).

A "discid" action doesn't make a lot of sense; it does it on any
invocation (unless the -C option specifies a discid), and the only
meaningful thing to do with it is to name the temporary directory.  A
"none" action would serve the same purpose, and be closer to the truth
of what's happening.
