[abcde] Geting abcde to encode using FLAC?
OK, I've been slashdoteed :-)
There is an article there today talking about a lossless codec called FLAC
(you can see where the name came from). So I looked over the web site for
this projetc.
Look's pretty impressive. Fast, and decent compression.
So I think I want to archive all my recording using this. Sources will
include CD'' LP's 45's (very few), Cassette (I can't help it, I have a wife
:-(), and reel to reel tapes.
Has any thoguht been put inot allowing alternate encoders, other than lame
and vorbis (sp) in abced?
