[abcde] Re: Why no date or genre in the id3?
Oh ok...so its a choice that you made for the software not necessarily a
unimplemented feature.
Would you (or anybody for that matter) be opposed to me adding the genre
and date (and maybe a few others) but not turning them on by default and
instead you must turn them on in the config file?
Personally I'd rather have as much info in the ogg, mp3, or flac file as
possible. To me it will make building the database more reliable and if
I input the data then I know it will be accurate. Granted I don't trust
CDDB for its input either. If for no other reason than the spelling
errors alone. But it would be nice if I didn't have to type in as much.
I'm almost done with the Date patch (except for the config file part)
and I expect that the genre won't be far behind.
Let me know your opinion....
